Jennifer Cuellar is a Los Angeles based artist who grew up in Calexico, California for the first 24 years of her life. Upon leaving Calexico, she went on to graduate from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California three years later. Her works are often reflections on places, emotions, memories, music and how they visually intersect. Being not only a creator of personal works, she has also completed various projects such as animation and graphic/web design for the feature-length documentary "Searching For Elliott Smith," merchandise design for internationally recognized band the New Pornographers, an assortment of editorial pieces, and currently works as a Conceptual Illustrator for CMH Records. Aside from drawing, painting, taking photos, and the visual arts in general, she is also an avid drummer and can often be found wearing headphones and listening to music all day long.
